University of Minnesota- Duluth (2008): B.S. in Teaching Communication, Arts/Literature Grades 5-12
Southwest Minnesota State University (2012): Masters of Science in Education
Teaching Experience:
Student taught at Denfeld High School in Duluth, Minnesota
Began teaching at Southland High School in September 2008
Background:
I grew up in Ham Lake, MN which is approximately 2.5 hours from Adams. I attended Blaine High School, which is part of the Anoka-Hennepin school district. I joke with the students that I graduated with more students in my class than the town of Adams- 974 to be exact! I loved the "Big City," but I truly love teaching in a small town and I love the Adams community! I went to the University of Minnesota- Duluth and that is where I met my husband. We got married in June of 2010 and just purchased our first home in Austin, MN. I look forward to a great year and I know I will see you around at many different activities!
